What is Frownies Apple Serum?
Frownies Apple Serum, available in 15-1ml ampoules for easy application, is a light serum that harnesses the revolutionary ingredient of apple stem cells from a rare Swiss apple, (Malus Domestica).
Frownies Apple Serum helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, crow's feet, and dark spots.
Studies show an antioxidant-rich formula helps shields your skin from environmental damage and free radicals.
Frownies Apple serum is a light serum derived from the stem cells of the Swiss apple variety known as Malus Domestica. These plant stem cells are prized in the beauty industry for their potent anti-aging properties. We prefer to call it beneficial-aging.

How to apply for best results
Wash your face with the Frownies PH Balancing Face Wash and then apply a pea size amount of Frownies Apple Stem Cell Serum concentrating on the area around the eyes, mouth, neck, or anywhere where you notice more fine lines and thinning of the skin. After applying the Apple Stem Cell Serum pop the top back on the ampule for later use.

Malus Domestica is a unique apple that grows in the Alps of northern Switzerland. Once picked the apple stays fresh months longer than ordinary fruit without shriveling or wrinkling.
Studies show that apple stem cells decreased wrinkles; boosting production of human stem cells. When tested in vitro (in a lab), the apple stem cell extract was applied to adult skin stem cells and was found to increase the number of the stem cells in the culture.

Apply the Apple Stem Cell Serum to the skin on the face and neck twice daily (morning and evening). We recommend using the Apple Stem Cell Serum under your daily moisturizer or night crème as an enhancement to the other hydrating ingredients.
The Apple Stem Cell Serum is packaged in a biodegradable ampule. The small ampule prevents the need for additional preservatives and ensures the potency of the ingredients.
We are looking for sustainable packaging solutions, and terms such as recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable are commonly used together, often interchangeably, they refer to different processes.
Biodegradable plastics are not compostable they do decompose much faster than their traditional counterparts which may take hundreds of years to break down. They seem, therefore, a more environmentally friendly solution.
The conversation about which packaging (recyclable, biodegradable or compostable) is best for the environment is ongoing and there’s no single answer to this question. All of these solutions come with their own benefits and limitations but are Frownies step forward in considering more sustainable alternatives to standard packaging.

Q: What's the difference between the Apple Stem Cell Serum and the Frownies Skin Serum?
A: The Frownies Skin Serum is a facial oil with high concentration of naturally occurring Vitamin C and Vitamin meant to lock in moisture and provide beneficial antioxidants to the skin. The Apple Stem Cell Serum is meant to fight the affects of aging and improve stem cell production in the skin. Frownies Skin Serum and Frownies Apple Stem Cell Serum are
complimentary and should be used together for greatest impact! Q: How many ampules come in a box?
A: There are 15 ampules in each box.
Q: How many uses can I get from one ampule?
A: If you are applying the serum to your face and neck you can use 1/2 an ampule in the morning and 1/2 at night. If you are concentrating only on the area around the eyes and mouth you might be able to get 3 or 4 uses out of one ampule (using a few drops at a time).
Q: How long will it take to see results?
A: When it comes to skin care it can take up to 12 weeks for full cell tur over so remember that consistent use over time will produce the best results. Be consistent using the Apple Stem Cell Serum twice a day for best results.
Q: Do I need to use a moisturizer after applying the Apple Stem Cell Serum.
A: Yes, we recommend using the Frownies Moisturizers for Face and Neck

This is my 3rd box to buy and I love it! I actually apply it to my neck as well and I feel like my lines on the sides of my neck have started to smooth over. Since I added the apple serum to my daily skincare routine, I’ve noticed my skin is smoother, firmer, and “bouncier” - after I apply it, I tap my face a little, just to see my skin’s elasticity! I use about a third of an ampoule every night (I mix it with my moisturizer and apply after cleansing, before adding my acne cream), and use it on my neck, chest and the backs of my hands. I’ve noticed smoother skin everywhere. I can’t recommend it enough!
